FIRST Nevada is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting robotics programs and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education initiatives across Nevada. The organization aims to inspire young people to become leaders in science and technology through engaging, mentor-based programs. These programs help students develop essential skills in science, engineering, and technology while fostering innovation and enhancing life capabilities such as self-confidence, communication, and leadership. FIRST Nevada offers various robotics competitions, including the FIRST® LEGO® League, FIRST® Tech Challenge, and FIRST® Robotics Competition, which challenge students to design, build, and program robots to solve real-world engineering challenges.
